Latest Miller News...

The past couple of days have flown by! We are really busy working on the final details of the father and son camp that is coming up in only ten days. With four hundred campers coming this year, we know that this is going to be a huge project. We are grateful for the many volunteers who are helping us make this a blessing for all those who attend.

On Saturday, the girls and I played for a wedding in Marshall, and then that evening we had our studio recital in Tuscola. We appreciate the opportunity to teach each of our forty students and love the opportunity to sit back and listen to them perform. We were proud of each student's progress over the past year! We were also reminded just why we hadn't done a combined recital of Meg, Krista, Therese, and my students in such a long time- the performance lasted nearly two hours. In the midst of the busy evening we forgot to take any pictures, so you'll have to wait to the next recital to see the little maestros.

Yesterday, the Bentz family drove three hours to come down for the afternoon to help us with planning for the camp. They have been so helpful for several years in the planning stage of the event, and throughout the entire camping weekend. Our family is thankful for Lloyd and Emily and their sons, Aaron, Caleb and Ethan. They will be staying here from Tuesday to Sunday next week and we are looking forward to seeing them then.

Marquez's Visit

On Monday, the Marquez's came to visit for a couple of days. We met Joe and Ramona Marquez in 1993 at a gas station in Minnesota, of all things! We have become life long friends with them and their four grown children. Their two sons, Daniel and Jonathan, were the ones who visited this time with their families.
Daniel is in the Marines, and he and his wife Faith are stationed in Japan with their two children- Kiara (2) and Reuben (7 months).
Jonathan and his wife Carrie, live in Iowa with their three children, Jeffrey (4), Jaden (2), and Rosie (10 months).
